I have decided to jump. I've considered all and have come to the conclusion that I will take this risk. There are still a couple of unknowns, but I am fairly sure it's what I need. I'll give him my time, my thoughts, my love... and let him decide.
How frightening it is to surrender control.

ReplyDeleteHe is someone who I met through work 3 years ago, but have not seen much for the past 2 years (he graduated, new job, etc), except for the occasional mutual friend get-together. However, we recently (2 months or so) started spending time together. But due to his ties to a previous relationship of his, I have been unsure of how I feel about him, and as a result, have not been open and have put up walls. I recently made the effort to break down some walls, and was pleasantly surprised with the results. :)
And I could continue on with the details, but I will spare you. :) Sorry you asked?
Ah, and the "I'm your stranger. Jump!" quote is from the movie Closer (love it), which him and I watched the other day. And also, it seems many of us keep waiting and waiting for that stranger to be the one, yet the person who is best for us may not a stranger to us at all. Thought it was fitting. :)
